What to Expect
Through the relocated red brick houses, the living culture, traditional crafts and traditional arts of the time are introduced. The staff dressed in Ryukyu costumes will warmly greet tourists to the music of the sanzin. Here, you can play Ryukyu musical instruments yourself, and experience the sights of "Old, Okinawa, and Yaeyama". The naturally rich park is situated on a terrace with expansive views. The "MOTONORA restaurant" in the park has dishes using a lot of local ingredients, such as Yaeyama noodles and Ishigaki beef soup, and is frequented not only by tourists but also by locals.
