Transportation method: Transfer to the Kumamoto City Tram from JR Kumamoto Station, get off at "Kumamoto Castle/City Hall" and walk for 10 minutes. 3. Take the airport bus from Aso Kumamoto Airport, get off at Sakura-machi Bus Terminal, and walk for 10 minutes. 4. Opening hours: 9:00 AMâ5:00 PM (last entry at 4:00 PM) Last entry time for the castle tower: 16:30 â»The park may extend its opening hours due to activities or other factors. â»From April 1, 2024, the south entrance/exit will be available on weekdays. Participation Restrictions Adult prices apply to high school students and above visitors. Child ticket fare applies to elementary and junior high school visitors. Free Wi-Fi Instructions for using Kumamo and free Wi-Fi in the park. 1. Turn on the Wi-Fi settings on your smartphone, tablet, or other mobile device, and select the network (SSID) kumamoto-free-wifi. 2. Launch the browser. 3. After registering as a user on the registration screen, you can connect to the Internet. From the second connection, select the Wi-Fi network (SSID) kumamoto-free-wifi to use without having to register. * Available areas: Sakuranomaba Josaien, General Tourist Information Center, restrooms on the south side of Ninomaru parking lot, Ninomaru ticket office, Uto Turret, plaza in front of the castle tower, inside the castle tower, and near the special tour route. Remarks/Other During peak times, there may be longer wait times to visit the castle tower. We appreciate your understanding. In case of rain, the roads may become slippery and prone to falls. Please wear non-slip shoes for safety. The use of tripods, selfie sticks, and similar equipment is strictly prohibited during crowded periods. Pets are only allowed in the outdoor areas of the paid park (outside the castle tower). Pets must be kept in a fully enclosed carrier at all times within the park (assistance dogs are permitted). When visiting other areas of the park, please ensure your pet is on a leash. Open fires are strictly prohibited in Kumamoto Castle Park. No smoking areas are available in the paid zones. Visitors who wish to smoke may do so at the designated smoking area near the "Castle Restoration Consultation Center" in Ninomaru or at the smoking area in Josaien. Do not eat or drink inside the paid park area. Only covered beverage bottles are allowed for entry and consumption. Visitors requiring wheelchairs (including electric wheelchairs) can rent them for free within the park (must be accompanied. Not available on rainy days). You can bring a stroller into the park and use it. The Shuyuan area (including the castle tower) does not provide coin-operated lockers for large luggage. Wheeled suitcases are strictly prohibited inside the castle tower. Visitors who need luggage storage may use the coin-operated lockers in front of the Ninomaru Rest Area or those in front of the Josaien Tourist Information Center.
