What to Expect
Founded in 1877, the National Museum of Nature and Science is one of the oldest museums in Japan and is the nation's only comprehensive science museum dedicated to the history of natural history and science and technology.
It is made up of the Japan Gallery and the Global Gallery. The Japan Gallery exhibits the history of the relationship between Japanese people and nature under the theme of "The Nature of the Japanese Archipelago and Us."
The Global Gallery has a theme of "The History of Life on Earth and Humanity" and exhibits the diverse living things on Earth and how they are deeply connected to each other.
