teamLab Forest Fukuoka is a permanently installed digital art museum by the world-renowned art collective teamLab, located in BOSS E·ZO Fukuoka adjacent to PayPay Dome. Opening in 2020, it has become one of Kyushu's most talked-about cultural attractions — an immersive universe of interactive digital art that blurs boundaries between viewer, artwork, and environment.

The museum is divided into two major experiential zones. Catching and Collecting Forest is an active, game-like experience where visitors use their smartphones to ""capture"" creatures from a digital ecosystem that transforms in real-time based on interaction. Athletics Forest is a physically engaging space where large-scale climbing structures become canvases for cascading digital art — visitors climb, jump, and move through spaces filled with responsive light and sound.

The experience typically takes 60 to 90 minutes. Unlike traditional art museums, teamLab Forest is explicitly designed for movement, play, and interaction rather than passive observation. The artworks respond to every visitor's presence and actions, meaning no two visits are ever the same — the results can be both childlike and profoundly meditative."
